Sumi-e is Japanese traditional ink painting. It's being able to say what you want with the smallest possible brush strokes. That's why you learn to plan, concentrate and get results as quickly as possible before starting job. The brush is likened to a sword. Famous samurai use it to increase their concentration and skills.
